I'm so sorry that I haven't participated much on this discussion.  After last week's webcast disaster, I'm seeing a few comments from readers that will be bypassing the webcast again tonight and downloading it tomorrow.

I have to admit that I haven't picked up the book in two weeks and have yet to see last week's webcast.  It's "grant writing time" for me at my job, so I've pretty much had my head buried in trying to secure funding for yet another year.  I'm also doing a lot of travel for my job this month, so there's another excuse........

I'm going to get back into the book as soon as possible, but whether or not I do shouldn't slow down the discussion.  I'm anxious to read everybody's input.

The webcast has started, I'm in the recliner and Ice is on the treadmill.  But we are having some trouble with the video stalling in spots.  Is anybody else having this trouble?

If you haven't signed up to oprah.com and signed up for the webcast starting on Monday Night, you can go HERE to do so.  There is a workbook that can be printed before Monday night also and there is a program that you will need to download before you are able to view the webcast.  I need to get that done also.  All can be done on the link I included above. 

Monday, after the webcast, which is at 9 p.m. eastern, 9 p.m. central, I'll put up a discussion post for your comments and discussion.  I believe it will be covering chapter one, but any and all comments will be welcome.

Taylor (Love and Light From Healing Creek) suggested that we join Oprah's book club and asked if I would be interested in starting a blog for that purpose.  So, I thought about it and had just about talked myself out of the entire concept, telling myself I'm too busy, blah....blah....blah....

But.......I went to Oprah's site to check it out and Eckhart Tolle's book "A New Earth" peaked my interest.  It really looks like my kind of reading, so here I am and here we go! 

Now, the first thing you need to do is run out and buy this book.  I haven't purchased one yet myself, but will be checking at Wal Mart tonight to get one.  If they don't have any, I'll be looking in OKC the next few days. 

If you go to Oprah.com, you will find a place to sign up for her book club.  But, even better, you will also be able to sign up for classes conducted by Eckhart Tolle and Oprah herself, online, every Monday night for ten weeks, beginning March 3rd

I think this will give us many opportunities for discussions on this blog, so come on and join Taylor and I for what I hope to be an enlightening and enjoyable experience.
